Brijuni National Park

An island desert transformed into paradise.

The trip starts on the eastern side of the island, where you will be greeted by expert guides. The first part of the excursion is designed as a one-hour ride by tourist train along the coast, to the north side of the island, where the Safari Park is located. On the way to the Safari Park, there is a view of the golf course, the castle and the old farm buildings built at the beginning of the 20th century during the time of the Austrian Kupelwieser family.

The safari park has about 80 plant speices, mostly from Africa and Asia, but also many autochthonous species. During the break, visitors can enjoy the company of the animals, the most famous of which is Lanka the elephant. During the panoramic drive on the western side of the island, there is a view of the two islets of Brijuni, Vrsar and Vanga.

The second part of the program includes visits to various exhibitions, one of which is the photo exhibition of Josip Broz Tito in Brioni.

The four-hour tour of Veliki Brijun Island is accompanied by a guide in Croatian, Italian, German, Russian and English.

*Pets are allowed on the island (dogs must be kept on a leash). Admission for dogs is charged. Pets are NOT allowed in closed spaces (train, exhibition spaces) and the safari park.
